Aiyn has been keeping out of James' way, but she's not really hiding. She is practicing to meet James face to face. Meanwhile James is still trying to come up with an epic proposal for Shay. All of the characters we've come to love show up in this episode. When Aiyn, as the Silver Ghost, meets up with James, it is a battle to remember! Finally, James ignores everyone's advice about the proposal and goes with his heart and it is epic! Now it's Shay's turn to plan the wedding - can't wait for the next installment!
I just finished this latest episode, and I really liked liked it. I think the proposal set up and scene was perfect! I've been reading Mr Anderle's books for a couple years now, and my biggest complaint is I'm having difficulty keeping up with all the different series in the two universes. If you haven't read much of this author's writing, you should. Start with "Death Becomes Her", and go on from there. You'll love them all.
That was awesome! I was really surprised with the outcome of the proposal. Usually I can see what’s coming and this time it just came out of the blue so to speak. Hehe. What a great job! Now I am in full anticipation of the upcoming wedding and alien interactions. Along with the Codex of the Gods and Daniel’s participation. I just love Brownstone! And Shay!
A very satisfying arc ending book. James and Shay (spoiler alert) are finally betrothed and that damn alien gets her comeuppance in an awesome one on one battle. Really enjoyed the confused NSA alien in the desert as well. The author notes promise more Brownstone adventures ahead which I look forward to. Well done Mr. Anderle!
Brownstone stories just keep getting better. They are fantastic and can’t wait for the next one if you haven’t read the series be careful because you’ll become sleep deprived and then you’ll find the other series who are equally as good and there you go down the rabbit hole again. ENJOY
Love the action, the humor and the over writing style of this author. This series has a lock of butt kicking and bbq loving bounty hunter who makes your day a bit lighter and fun by the end of this book. Can't wait for the next one. Don't miss out!!
Then Shay dilemma continues. Tough battles for teams. Brownstone is still in the action. Questions about close encounters come into play. Very interesting and let's you know more is to come without cliff hangers. Highly recommended.
